Advancing to Pimnas: Public Administration PKM Coaching Clinic at PSDKU Rembang Enhances Proposal Quality

Rembang, 5 January 2026 — The Public Administration Study Program of PSDKU Rembang, Universitas Diponegoro, continues to strengthen its academic environment and foster student creativity through the organization of a PKM Coaching Clinic themed “Data-Driven and Impact-Oriented Proposal Development.” The event was designed as both a learning forum and a practical mentoring space for students to develop PKM proposals that are sharper, measurable, and responsive to public needs.

Amid increasingly competitive PKM competitions, proposals are no longer sufficient if they merely present interesting ideas. Strong proposals must demonstrate a clear data foundation, precise problem formulation, and realistic solutions oriented toward measurable impact. Through this coaching clinic, students were guided to build well-structured proposals—from identifying evidence-based issues and developing compelling background sections to designing measurable outputs and outcomes.

The event featured two lecturers from the Public Administration Program at PSDKU Rembang as speakers: Renata Jati Nirmala, S.IAN., MPA, and Nawangsasi Wincahyo Artiko Aji, S.A.P., M.A.P. Both shared strategies for developing proposals that are not only structurally well organized but also supported by strong arguments and capable of clearly demonstrating their potential social impact.

The session was conducted interactively, combining core material presentations with open discussions. Participants were encouraged to critically address key questions: What data supports the urgency of the program? Who are the primary beneficiaries? What changes are expected to be achieved? How will success be measured? Through this approach, students are expected to be better prepared to develop proposals grounded in program logic and aligned with real-world needs.

Dr. Drs. R. Slamet Santoso, M.Si expressed hope that the activity would provide an essential foundation for students to generate creative, data-supported ideas capable of producing meaningful change. Beyond competition preparation, the coaching clinic represents the program’s broader effort to cultivate a strong academic tradition rooted in analysis, innovation, and public benefit.
